KLEVE 2VBS-2 structure bestseller among ground structures for photovoltaic farms

A

wide selection of top-class products, tracking of market trends and individual approach in response to customers' needs - these are the distinguishing features of KLEVE, a leading manufacturer of ground structures for photovoltaic farms. Ground structure - 2VBS-2, which has quickly become a bestseller.

"We are consistently building a leading position in both regional and global markets. Taking into account the ever-increasing demand for high-efficiency ground structures, we have developed another quality solution in the form of the 2VBS-2 system. It will be perfect for large-scale installations, guaranteeing quality, easy installation and problem-free use of the photovoltaic system." - says Jakub Księżakowski, CEO of Kleve Group

KLEVE [solar] in line with photovoltaic farm development trends

More and more bifacial modules are now being used in business photovoltaic installations, a natural consequence of the search for opportunities to optimize the cost-effectiveness of PV panel production while increasing the yield efficiency of the electricity produced. According to a study by the US-based National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), bifacial PV panels achieve an average yield 6-9% higher than standard pv panels, for modules set on a single-axis tracker. For photovoltaic stationary systems facing south, the average efficiency increases by 10-15%. Therefore, double-sided photovoltaic panels, having the ability to absorb rays falling on both the top and bottom sides of the PV module, are an increasingly common choice for investors. The additional yield - calculated on the scale of the total installation - is a serious argument, especially in the perspective of many years of operation.

Structures dedicated to bifacial modules are not new in KLEVE's offer - it is worth mentioning the popular 4HB ground structures in horizontal arrangement. The effect of the popularity of building systems in a vertical arrangement, constant monitoring of trends and market research while exchanging experience with contractors, was the design and preparation by the KLEVE Development Department of a new ground structure for 2VBS-2 photovoltaic farms.

Advantages of the 2VBS-2 photovoltaic mounting system from KLEVE

The 2VBS-2 ground-mounted photovoltaic structure (just like the KLEVE 4H-B structure) offers the possibility of eliminating shadowing by exposing the rear walls of the PV modules - without any additional structural elements (such as bracing, braces, etc.).
The 2VBS-2 system from KLEVE is an innovative solution, enabling quick and easy installation, through the use of patented KLEVE [solar] solutions as well as through the use of significantly fewer components compared to similar solutions used in the market. This allows for significant time and financial savings in the entire photovoltaic farm investment. The entire KLEVE 2VBS-2 ground structure is based on top-class components. All load-bearing components are made of high-grade steel profiles coated with ArcelorMittal's Magnelis coating, giving the best corrosion protection in diverse weather conditions. The 4mm thick Magnelis-coated brackets - which are the connectors between the posts and purlins - in many cases and to a significant extent are able to neutralize potential unevenness of the terrain, and even possible minor deficiencies arising during the assembly of the entire installation (for example, resulting from slopes of the terrain), which significantly facilitates the work of installation teams, reducing the time of assembly of the entire installation.

Another advantage of the KLEVE 2VBS-2 design is the introduction of stiles between each photovoltaic module, providing a guarantee of good and solid mounting, which is particularly important for investments based on the largest photovoltaic modules currently available, with a power of 650 Wp and a size of ~2.4m x 1.3m. In its 2VBS-2 design, KLEVE used an inverted traditional arrangement of construction elements: post - bracket - purlins - stiles, shorter cable routes, significantly fewer posts, statics individually adapted to wind and snow zones. All production takes place in a modern and automated factory in Poland.

KLEVE - a guarantee of structure durability for photovoltaic farms for years to come

The KLEVE 2VBS-2 ground-based photovoltaic structure has almost immediately become a "bestseller" and is widely used in the construction of both medium (several MW) and large photovoltaic farms (several tens of MW+). The simplicity of assembly, the highest quality components, excellent design solutions and the combination of the best components known from KLEVE's previous designs (for example, the thickness of the leg profiles of 3 mm) and the excellent quality of steel put this solution at the forefront of those available on the market. The 2VBS-2 design from KLEVE is a solution that combines innovation and efficiency and gives the assurance of trouble-free operation for at least 30+ years - and these are key arguments in today's business market.
